Job summary

Reliable Contractors Ltd is recruiting an experienced Grader Operator to join the BBV HS2 project at B76 0EB. This is a full-time, PAYE role on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects with a long-term assignment and regular income.

The candidate must hold a Blue CPCS card or a relevant qualification and have prior grader experience on major civil engineering works. Expect site inductions, on-site medicals and vetting checks prior to start.

Qualifications

• Blue CPCS card or relevant recognised qualification for operating a grader.
• Prior experience operating graders on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work accurately to levels, drawings and site specifications.
• Experience working around live earthworks operations.
• Reliable, proactive attitude towards work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a grader safely and efficiently on the BBV HS2 project.
• Carry out earthworks, grading and levelling operations to the required specifications.
• Work accurately to site drawings, levels and instructions.
• Complete daily plant checks and report defects.
• Maintain productivity while following site procedures.
• Coordinate with other plant operators and groundworkers.
• Follow all site health and safety requirements.
