Realm Recruit is assisting a well-established law firm seeking an experienced Court of Protection solicitor to join its specialist team in Ashton-under-Lyne. You will manage your own COP P&A caseload and advise on complex and strategic matters, delivering high-quality client care.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in Court of Protection
• Extensive experience managing a complex COP Property & Affairs caseload
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience handling high-level and strategic Court of Protection matters
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members (preferred)
• Interest in business development and supporting the growth of the department

You’ll become part of a specialist Court of Protection department handling high-level Property & Affairs matters for vulnerable clients. Managing your own caseload with the support of experienced solicitors and paralegals, you’ll advise on complex and strategic issues while delivering the highest standards of client care.

You’ll have the opportunity to play an important role in the continued development of the team. Alongside your own caseload, you’ll support the supervision and mentoring of junior colleagues, contribute to business development and help strengthen the department’s reputation in the market.

Who we’re looking for

• Solicitor or FCILEx with 8+ years’ experience in Court of Protection
