Job summary

SaccoMann is seeking a Court of Protection Solicitor in Manchester to manage a caseload of complex Property and Affairs matters. You will work closely with Directors on high-value, contested cases and assist with applications to the Court, including investigations into financial abuse, while developing under a supportive, client-focused team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in Court of Protection, strong advisory skills for LPAs and deputyship, and a compassionate

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Court of Protection work.
• Strong understanding of applications, contentious proceedings, and financial abuse investigations.
• Experience advising families on LPAs and deputyship applications.
• Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and oversee case management tasks.

About the role

As a key member of the Court of Protection team, as a Solicitor, you will manage a caseload of complex Property and Affairs files supported by experienced case workers and trainee solicitors. You will work closely with the Directors, contributing to high-value, contested cases, including applications to the Court and investigations into financial abuse.
