Job summary

United In Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Grab Operative for a temp-perm contract at a busy recycling site. The role focuses on operating fixed plant machinery to ensure smooth production, with safety as a priority and a drive toward waste reduction.

Candidates must hold a current Grab material re-handler license and be prepared for a two-week shift pattern. Shifts: Week 1 Mon-Fri 6am-3pm; Week 2 Mon-Thu 3pm-midnight.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining machinery in production settings.
• Operational, hands-on work experience in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Fixed Plant Operation: operate machinery to oversee production and meet daily targets.
• Health, Safety & Environmental: comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Maintenance: replace consumables and perform routine checks per SOPs.
• Site Operations: run site and production processes safely and efficiently.
• Team Support: assist with duties to help achieve production targets.
• Continuous Improvement: work with the team to improve performance and efficiency.
