Job summary

Apple in Cambridge, UK is seeking a Design Verification Engineer to lead pre-silicon RTL verification of blocks in low power embedded graphics cores. You will use SystemVerilog, UVM and C++ with industry-leading tools to verify complex GPU designs and drive coverage within a fast-growing team.

You will develop verification plans, create test benches, and run simulations, debugging issues while building automated flows to improve coverage and efficiency in the GPU verification flow.

Responsibilities

• Design Verification Engineer responsible for pre-silicon RTL verification of blocks in low power embedded graphics cores.
• Use SystemVerilog, UVM and C++ to verify complex GPU designs.
• Develop verification plans with design leads and architects.
• Create and maintain verification test bench components and environments.
• Generate directed and directed random tests.
• Run simulations and debug design and environment issues.
• Build functional coverage points, analyze coverage and improve test environment to close coverage holes.
• Build automated verification flows for block verification.
