Job summary

Apple in Cambridge seeks a GPU Physical Verification Engineer to join the Silicon Technologies group and drive verification for next‑gen GPUs. You will work with the Physical Design team to implement verification strategies, guidelines and checklists, owning issues through back‑end design.

This role blends strategic engineering with hands‑on DV work and involves full design closure from planning to tapeout.

Qualifications

• Experience with hierarchical design, top-down planning and physical convergence.
• Experience with PDV checks including LVS/DRC/ERC and ESD considerations.
• Graduates with BS/MS and PDV-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive physical verification across the design cycle from planning to tapeout.
• Develop guidelines, checklists and DV flows; resolve design and flow issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align PDV needs with project goals.
