Industry leading semiconductor company in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Compiler Engineer to join on-site. You will drive GPU core optimization, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and push the performance of mobile and data-processing platforms.

The role demands 5+ years in GPU hardware/software co-design, deep knowledge of graphics pipelines, and hands-on experience with compiler or graphics driver software. This is a permanent, on-site position in Cambridge.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of GPU experience in hardware/software co-design.
• Deep understanding of GPU architectures and graphics pipelines.
• Experience in compiler development or graphics driver software.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize GPU cores for peak performance and power efficiency.
• Develop high-performance GPU compiler software and drivers to support cutting-edge graphics products.
• Build functional model simulations and develop graphics tests to verify architectural correctness.
• Program and run graphics tests to identify bottlenecks and ensure power/performance goals are met.
• Create detailed feature descriptions and technical guides for internal and external stakeholders.
