Job summary

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is seeking a Senior Educator (GP02) to support assesssments and progression for GP Training. You will deputise for the Associate Dean for Assessments and contribute to ARCP preparation, pre-screening, and panel quality assurance.

The role involves attending Assessment Group meetings and collaborating with the West Midlands GP School to ensure high standards of learning and safety for trainees and staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Medical or Dental Practitioner with a current licence to practise.
• Higher educational qualification in education (postgraduate certificate/diploma or Master’s).
• Active involvement in NHS appraisal processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality assured assessment of progression for GP Training in the West Midlands.
• Provide training and support to GP trainers and clinical supervisors.
• Attend Assessment Group meetings and support ARCP processes and appeals.
• Deputise for Associate Dean for Assessments when required.
