Job summary

Imperium Financial Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Accounts Semi Senior in Wilmslow to specialise in GP practice accounts. You will join a GP hub, receive hands-on training from senior colleagues, and progress toward a standalone GP Accounts Senior within approximately two years.

The role offers hybrid working with flexible hours and a strong focus on developing specialist GP accounting knowledge within a well-established firm.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing accounts in an accountancy practice.
• Knowledge of GP/medical accounting is desirable.
• Ability to work with partnerships, sole traders and companies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual accounts for GP practices and partnerships.
• Develop understanding of specialist GP accounting requirements.
• Work within GP hub, learning from senior team members.
• Review records and identify missing information.
• Communicate with clients regarding queries and information needs.
• Ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain up-to-date client records.
• Prepare general accounts during quieter periods.
• Produce accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Ltd companies.
• Prepare financial statements under FRS 102 1A and FRS 105.
• Prepare CT returns including CT600s.
• Take increasing responsibility as knowledge grows.
