Job summary

General Practitioner Medical Screening role in Glasgow offers a preventative, lifestyle-focused approach within a private clinic. You’ll provide extended health screenings and primary care with 15-minute consultations, emphasising continuity and patient engagement.

The pattern is Monday to Friday with a minimum of two days per week. You’ll work in a supportive, well-resourced environment, enjoy a structured appointment system and full training in advanced screening procedures.

Qualifications

• GMC registered General Practitioner.
• Experience working as a GP or Health Screener or Private GP setting is desirable.
• Confident communicator with strong clinical IT proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care and preventative health assessments as a General Practitioner Medical Screening within an adult patient cohort.
• Conduct clinical examinations, request investigations and interpret results to support diagnosis and care planning.
• Perform procedures including blood taking, ECGs and smear tests as part of routine screening activity.
• Provide lifestyle advice and support behaviour change through extended consultations and health coaching approaches.
