Job summary

Flexzo Ai is seeking a General Practitioner (GP) to join our private primary care and health screening team in Glasgow. This salaried role supports 6, 8 or 10 sessions per week, with £10,400 per session per year and an additional potential Health Screening Allowance of £8,000–£12,000 per year.

Responsibilities include private GP consultations, health screenings, blood draws, vaccinations, ECGs, and lifestyle health guidance within a modern, patient-centred private practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold GMC Registration and be on the GP Register.
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification GP experience.
• Ability to perform smear tests, vaccinations, blood draws and ECGs.
• Excellent communication and patient-centred consultation skills.
• Passion for preventative and lifestyle medicine.

• Deliver personalised private GP consultations and health screenings.
• Conduct 15-minute reviews to 60-minute health assessments.
• Perform blood draws, vaccinations, cervical smears and ECGs.

About The Role

We are seeking passionate and patient-focused General Practitioners to join an expanding Private Primary Care and Health Screening service in Glasgow.

This is an exciting opportunity for GPs with an interest in preventative medicine, health screening, and lifestyle-focused care. You'll deliver personalised private GP consultations alongside comprehensive health screenings, supported by advanced diagnostics, consultant-led CPD, and a structured GP Academy programme.

Appointments are pre-booked and range from focused 15-minute GP consultations to one-hour health screening appointments, allowing you to provide exceptional patient-centred care in a modern private healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised private GP consultations and comprehensive health screenings
• Conduct appointments ranging from 15-minute reviews to one-hour health assessments
• Perform blood draws, vaccinations, cervical smear tests and ECGs
• Utilise advanced diagnostics and rapid referral pathways
• Provide personalised lifestyle, preventative health and wellbeing advice
• Identify health risks and support long-term disease prevention
• Refer patients to specialist consultants and therapies when clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and high standards of patient care

What We're Looking For

Essential

• GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
• Inclusion on the GP Register (NHS Performers List not required)
• Minimum of one year's post-qualification GP experience
• Ability to undertake smear tests, vaccinations, blood draws and ECGs
• Excellent communication and patient-centred consultation skills
• Passion for preventative and lifestyle medicine

Desirable

• Previous experience in private healthcare
• Interest in health screening and preventative medicineExperience delivering health assessments
• Willingness to undertake advanced diagnostics training

What's on Offer

• £10,400 per annum per session
• Opportunity to earn an additional Health Screening Allowance of £8,000–£12,000 per annum based on screening activity*
• Salaried contracts available for 6, 8 or 10 sessions

• Choice of working hours:
  • 08:30–17:30 (including one-hour lunch and one-hour protected admin time), or
  • 09:00–18:00
