Job summary

Leaders in Care is seeking a GMC-registered GP for a Health Screening Doctor role in Glasgow. The four-day week (Mon–Thu) centers on preventative health screening, lifestyle coaching and long-term wellbeing, with a maximum of 5–8 patients per day and 30–90 minute appointments.

You will join a state-of-the-art private facility with a multidisciplinary team. The package includes paid study leave, indemnity, full training in advanced screening and a £100k FTE pro rata for 4 days.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with current licence and ability to perform comprehensive health assessments.
• Strong IT literacy and experience with dictation/reporting tools.
• Interest in preventative medicine and lifestyle interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive preventive health assessments for corporate clients.
• Perform clinical examinations and review medical histories.
• Interpret investigations to identify health risks and tailor care plans.
• Carry out cervical smear tests, phlebotomy, vaccinations, prostate exams and ECGs as required.
• Produce detailed patient reports using dictation software.
• Provide practical lifestyle advice and support patients in behavior change.
