WellBN is seeking a GP to cover maternity leave across its three-site practice. The role focuses on surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, and repeat prescriptions. It offers mentoring, CPD, and training in inclusive care for neurodiverse and trans patients.

The position is fixed-term for about a year from January 2027 and may become permanent. GMC registration and MRCGP or equivalent are required, with the ability to work across all three sites.

Qualifications

• GP with primary care experience and CPD
• Full GMC registration
• Experience with QOF and quality initiatives

Responsabilités

• Hold surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, and manage queries and paperwork
• Make autonomous decisions on self-referred and referred patients
• Assess undiagnosed health needs and screen for disease risk factors
• Issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions per formulary
• Admit and discharge patients and refer to other care providers
• Provide counselling and health education
• Maintain clear consultation notes and Read-Coding
• Contribute to QOF/IIF and Enhanced Services
• Take part in audits and clinical standard-setting
• Help develop and deliver new primary care services and care models
