Job summary

East Cliff Practice in Ramsgate, part of Invicta Health CIC, seeks an on-site clinical leader to oversee the practice, collaborate with GP Consultant colleagues and the leadership team, and uphold high standards of patient care.

You will provide clinical oversight, leadership and direction for the site, focus on developing the GP and ACP workforce, and work with wider health and social care partners to deliver safe, integrated services and participate in local and national initiatives to

Job description

The role involves working collaboratively with GP Consultant colleagues, the Invicta Health leadership team, and practice staff to ensure the highest possible standards of patient care. The postholder will provide clinical oversight, leadership, and direction for the site, with a particular focus on supporting and developing the GP and Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) workforce. This role requires a visible on-site clinical leadership presence, ensuring accessibility to all staff for advice, guidance, and decision-making to support the safe and effective operation of the practice. The postholder will also work in partnership with wider health and social care providers to deliver safe, integrated, and patient-centred services. In addition, the role includes active engagement in local and national initiatives to support the development of sustainable, high-quality healthcare provision.

East Cliff Practice is based in Ramsgate with its historic harbour and attractive coastline and on the high speed rail link to London. Our neighbours are the traditional seaside towns of Broadstairs with its blue flag beaches, and Margate, home to the Turner Centre and Old Town area. East Cliff Practice is warm and friendly with a robust multi-disciplinary team, which includes Advanced Nurse Practitioners,, Nurse Practitioners and a Clinical Pharmacy team. The multi-disciplinary team is supported by an experienced reception and administration team who handle referrals, prescriptions, reports and other general tasks. East Cliff Practice is one of seven GP Practices that sit under Invicta Health.We are a well known community interest company, devoted to supporting and improving primary care in the Kent area., Invicta Health is a non-profit company, with a passion for primary care. We have a wide range of services such as hub-based GPs services, GP surgeries, services in Urgent Care Centres and A&E, a Community Primary Care mental health service, GP staff training service and the list is growing all the time.

We are formed by a federation of General Practitioners working in Canterbury and South Kent Coast areas of East Kent. Our aim is to provide local, high quality services for local people by collaborating with other established organisations in the health and social care community.
