Job summary

Invicta Health CIC is recruiting a Salaried GP at East Cliff Practice in Ramsgate on up to 5 sessions. The role focuses on patient-centred, team-based primary care with a strong emphasis on listening and communication.

You will be on the GMC GP register (MRCGP or equivalent) with CCT, enjoy teaching and development of areas of special interest, and work within a supportive multidisciplinary team including Advanced Nurse Practitioners and a Clinical Pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Must be on General Medical Council's GP register (MRCGP or equivalent) with a valid CCT.
• Interest in teaching and development of areas of special interest welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of primary care services in a team-based, patient-centred approach.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate GP who enjoys a team focus in problem solving and also enjoys sharing knowledge. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and you will be an excellent listener. You will be on the General Medical Council's GP register, having passed the MRCGP (or equivalent) and gained a certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). An interest in teaching would be ideal, and the development of areas of special interest would be welcomed and nurtured. As a Salaried GP, you would provide a wide range of primary care based general medical services to our patients in a non-judgemental, respectful manner, using a patient centred and fully team-based approach. Good communication between colleagues is essential to the role, as we routinely share our experience and knowledge within the practice in order to optimise patient care.

Invicta Health has a Salaried GP opportunity available at East Cliff Practice, with up to 5 sessions available. East Cliff Practice is based in Ramsgate with its historic harbour, attractive coastline and on the high speed rail link to London. Our neighbours are the traditional seaside towns of Broadstairs with its blue flag beaches, and Margate, home to the Turner Centre and Old Town area. East Cliff Practice is warm and friendly with a robust multi-disciplinary team, which includes Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners and a Clinical Pharmacy team. The multi-disciplinary team is supported by an experienced reception and administration team who handle referrals, prescriptions, reports and other general tasks. East Cliff Practice is one of seven GP Practices that sit under Invicta Health. We are a well known community interest company, devoted to supporting and improving primary care in the Kent area., Invicta Health is a non-profit company, with a passion for primary care. We have a wide range of services such as hub-based GPs services, GP surgeries, services in Urgent Care Centres and A&E, a Community Primary Care mental health service, GP staff training service and the list is growing all the time.

We are formed by a federation of General Practitioners working in Canterbury and South Kent Coast areas of East Kent. Our aim is to provide local, high quality services for local people by collaborating with other established organisations in the health and social care community.
