What the job involves

• Telephone and face-to-face appointments resulting from triage
• Handling queries from patients and other healthcare professionals by tasks, calls, instant messages and direct conversation
• Total Triage sessions split across the week between GPs
• Supporting paramedics and other clinicians in decision-making and management
• Very occasional home visits, the vast majority done by paramedics
• A proportion of administration for the registered patient list
• Attending clinical meetings, Protected Learning Time sessions and monthly clinical supervision
• Taking a clinical lead role in an area of interest or expertise
• Contributing to the development of the practice and wider team
