Job summary

Aon is seeking a Risk & Governance Officer to support governance, reporting and risk management across the UK and EMEA. This hybrid role allows base in London or Farnborough, with a mix of home and office working.

You will coordinate committee reporting, maintain records, and produce high-quality risk and regulatory reporting for senior stakeholders. The role sits within Risk & Compliance and offers breadth across multiple business areas.

Qualifications

• Experience within risk, governance, compliance, internal audit or a similar role within FCA-regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of regulatory governance, committee structures, risk frameworks and governance processes.
• Experience working within a large global organisation and across multiple functions/geographies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building with senior leaders and partners.
• Strong communication and organisational skills for governance papers and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reporting and papers for UK and EMEA governance committees and stakeholders.
• Support governance forums with records, terms of reference, action tracking and audit trails.
• Work with Risk & Compliance leaders to support governance and risk practices.
• Produce high-quality reporting on risk exposure, controls and emerging risks.
• Support identification and documentation of risks, controls and dependencies.
• Provide governance input on business initiatives and regulatory changes.
• Build relationships across broking, operations, finance, people and other teams.
• Contribute to UK People Risk Committee and Conduct Committee and wider projects.
