Job summary

Capsticks Solicitors LLP is seeking an Analyst for the Governance & Risk (G&R) team, to support compliance and quality initiatives across our five offices. You will help ensure SRA and ICO requirements are met, strains of ISO 9001 are maintained, and you will assist in policy development and audit processes.

As part of a busy team, you will log data, coordinate updates to policies, assist with external audits and help prepare reports for committees. Travel to other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Experience in a law firm compliance role.
• Knowledge of SRA Handbook, SRA Code of Conduct, AML Regulations, GDPR, quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Understanding of current compliance topics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ISO 9001 accreditation and assist senior executives.
• Log and update compliance spreadsheets.
• Conduct file audits and participate in external audits.
• Collaborate with divisional compliance champions to understand work of legal and business divisions.
• Assist with policy, procedures, and insurance matters.
• Prepare papers for committees and deliver compliance training.
