Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Governance Facilitator to support governance across incidents, risks, inquests and complaints in Bolton and the Greater Manchester area.

You will develop and monitor admin systems and provide timely information to the Directorate, while assisting the Senior Leadership Team with governance meetings and required documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor administration systems for incidents, risks, claims, inquests and complaints.
• Lead to support the Senior Leadership Team with governance administration.
• Develop and manage reporting systems to provide timely information to the Directorate.
• Ensure complaints are investigated and reports provided for forwarding to the Customer Care Team.
• Ensure actions from complaints are completed with evidence within requested timescales and maintain full records on In-phase.
• Central point of contact for Learning Responses and support to managers to develop and monitor action plans.
• Ensure inquest statements requests are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate reports to Clinical Governance meetings on complaints, inquests and incidents.
• Support the Chair of the Positive Learning Group with the agenda and supporting documents.
• Undertake projects as requested by the Admin & Operational Support Manager or Head of Operations.
• Develop a practical system for governance information management for the Division.
• Ensure accurate data input into the Health Roster system for sickness absence and annual leave for senior management and admin staff.
