Truro School in Cornwall is seeking an experienced Clerk to the Governors to join the governance team. You will provide expert administrative, procedural and governance support to the Governing Body and its committees, ensuring meetings are effectively managed.

Working with the Chair of Governors and senior leaders, you will oversee governance processes, support the Truro School Foundation’s charitable aims, and provide impartial advice on governance matters.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting boards or committees.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Confidence to provide impartial governance advice.

Responsabilités

• Provide governance support to the Governing Body and committees.
• Ensure meetings are effectively managed and minutes accurately taken.
• Support governance processes to ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities.
• Support the operation and impact of the Truro School Foundation.
