Job summary

RED is seeking a Solution Architect with Gov.UK experience to join on a 6-month contract with potential extension. The role is remote with occasional on-site visits in London to align delivery.

You will own the end-to-end solution architecture for the programme, define and maintain the vision and architecture runway, and operate within a SAFe style model, collaborating with Release Train Engineers, System Architects, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT Architecture experience.
• Strong front-end development and architecture experience, preferably using Scala.
• Experience designing for or developing government/public sector platforms.
• Gov.UK experience is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the programme, providing a unified, coherent design across multiple ARTs and delivery teams.
• Define and maintain the solution vision, solution intent, architecture runway and target/transition state architectures.
• Act as Solution Architect within a SAFe (or equivalent scaled agile) operating model, collaborating with Release Train Engineers, System Architects, Product Management and Solution Management.
