Baxterstorey is seeking a detail-oriented Sandwich Chef to join the team at the Aston Martin F1 venue near Silverstone, United Kingdom. You will prepare high-quality sandwiches, ensure food safety, and support the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven sandwich-making experience, strong hygiene knowledge, and the ability to manage workload while maintaining presentation and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and assembling sandwiches in a food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen setting.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Knowledge of allergen management and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of ingredients, monitor stock levels, and communicate supply needs to management.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, toasters, and food preparation tools.
• Respond promptly to customer orders and special requests while maintaining quality and speed.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and allergen protocols to ensure customer safety.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and service demands.
• Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding items that do not meet standards.
• Assist with cash handling and order fulfillment as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and dietary information to address customer inquiries.
