Job summary

Solar on Steroids in Manchester is seeking a senior digital marketing lead to own our Google strategy and to build a Google Ads service from the ground up. You will manage a team of three remote media buyers handling together about £250,000 a month in ad spend, and report to the CEO.

Day-to-day you will expand into YouTube, Microsoft Ads and other channels, set structure, tracking, and playbooks, and work closely with sales to demonstrate value to clients.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on Google Ads experience, including Search and Local Services Ads.
• Agency experience handling multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Strong measurement capabilities: conversion tracking, CRM imports, and optimization focus.
• Experience coaching remote media buyers or willingness to lead for the first time.

Responsibilities

• Own our Meta strategy: structure, testing, budget allocation, scaling across client accounts.
• Ensure Meta strategy stays market-leading with updates and best practices.
• Coach three remote media buyers and balance their workloads.
• Build and launch the Google Ads service: offer, structures, tracking, playbooks, onboarding and reporting.
