Job summary

BGA is recruiting a Warehouse Manager to lead the Goods-In operation at our Swindon site. You will oversee unloading, booking-in of deliveries and release of stock after inspection, ensuring accuracy within the WMS.

In this fast-paced role, you will supervise warehouse associates, plan inbound activity with the Supply Chain, and drive continuous improvement. Strong leadership, Excel skills and WMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control and goods receiving.
Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets for large data sets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams to hit targets.
Ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Lead daily Goods-In operations, ensuring deliveries are unloaded, checked and booked in accurately.
Support and manage warehouse associates, allocate workloads and monitor performance.
Ensure stock is received in the WMS and released after inspection and requirements.
Coordinate with Supply Chain to plan inbound activity and prioritise urgent deliveries.
Investigate discrepancies, damaged stock and process issues; implement corrective actions.
Monitor KPIs and report on inbound performance and operational challenges.
Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, accuracy and productivity.
Provide flexible support across a multifunctional warehouse.
