Cytiva, a Danaher operating company in Newquay, is seeking a Goods In Inspector to support an on-site warehouse team. Responsibilities include inspections, documentation, and tracking items in the goods-in cage to ensure smooth material flow.

Candidates should have GCSEs in science or maths (C or above) and a forklift licence or willingness to obtain one. Experience in clean room environments or medical/pharmaceutical sectors is advantageous.

Qualificações

• Experience in inspection/quality control is a plus.

• Carry out inspections in line with procedures and specifications.
• Ensure logs and paperwork are completed accurately.
• Control and report on all items in the goods-in cage.
• Maintain material flow targets.
• Assist with problem resolution and continual improvement tasks.
• This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is on-site in Cytiva Newquay.

The Goods In Inspector is responsible for the following :

• Carry out inspections in accordance with procedures and component specifications.

• Ensure all necessary logs and paperwork are completed correctly.

• Control and report on all items within the goods-in cage.

• Keep to material flow targets.

• Assist with problem resolution, corrective action implementation and continual improvement activities.

• This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Warehouse Team located in Stores, Goods In, Cytiva Newquay and will be an on-site role.

Who you are:

GCSE grade C or above in Science/Maths based subject preferred

• Forklift License or willing to work towards

• It would be a plus if you also

possess previous experience in:

• Experience in medium/high volume Medical, Pharmaceutical, Automotive or Food Industry

• Experience in an inspection environment, ideally manufacturing

• Experience of clean room working and clean room controls

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel – N/A

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20kg,

• Quality Control / Compliance procedures
