Job summary

Project Recruit is seeking a Golang Engineer to work on secure microservices and data-driven customer experiences. The role is based in London or Bristol, UK, with hybrid arrangements allowing remote work within the UK and three days per week in the office.

The contract is 12 months, starting ASAP, with a day rate at market level. You will join a team focused on cutting-edge technology to drive customer insights and engagement through scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining/troubleshooting secure Go microservices.
• Experience with REST APIs, containerisation technologies, micro-services architecture.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• In-depth knowledge of coding best practices, code management, Agile development practices and continuous delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and deployments with Helm.

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services, requires experienced Golang Engineers to be based at their client's offices in London or Bristol, UK

This is a hybrid role - you can work remotely in the UK and attend the London or Bristol office 3 days per week.

This is a 12 month temporary contract to start ASAP

Day rate: Competitive Market rate

Key Requirements

:

• Knowledge of maintaining/troubleshooting secure Go microservices
• Experience of RESTAPIs, containerisation technologies, micro-services architecture
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills
• In depth knowledge of best coding practices, code management, agile development practices and continuous delivery
• Hands on experience with Kubernetes and deployments with helm.

Desirable

:

• Experience of JAVA development
• Familiar with SQL databases
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and SPLUNK
