Job summary

Infact in London is seeking a Product Engineer early in their career to build Go services powering our real-time credit data APIs. You will write, test, and operate Go microservices on AWS, growing into the wider stack.

Reporting to the CTO, you'll own features end-to-end from design to production, collaborate with senior engineers, and apply AI tooling responsibly to improve quality and speed. Hybrid work with 2–3 days in our central London office.

Qualifications

• Commercial software engineering experience or evidence of shipping real software.
• Proficiency with Go and ability to discuss design and trade-offs.
• Product instinct: think about the user of the API or interface, not just the ticket.
• Experience with AI tooling (e.g., Claude) in development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and ship features in Go API services.
• Own features end-to-end from design to production.
• Work with AWS infrastructure, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and technical decisions.
• Use AI tooling to raise quality and speed while staying accountable.
