Job summary

Neo4j is forming a new Product Analytics Platform team for Aura's Analytics API and infrastructure. You’ll own the API design, data contracts, and integration points across Aura, balancing multiple product teams’ needs with long-term maintainability.

You’ll collaborate with Product Management and engineering to shape and grow the platform. You will work primarily on the backend, with Go as the primary language, and contribute to RFCs, technical docs, and cross-team adoption to ensure reliable,

Qualifications

• Strong backend software engineering experience using Go for building and operating APIs, services, or ingestion systems.
• Experience designing well-defined APIs and integration contracts, including schemas, backward compatibility, validation, and consumption by other teams.
• Familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript and cross‑stack work for backend and frontend codebases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the Analytics API and underlying infrastructure across Aura.
• Define schema and integration contracts used by multiple product teams.
• Drive adoption of the API across engineering teams and provide documentation and RFCs.
• Collaborate with Product Management and other engineering teams to evolve the platform as it grows.
