Deliveroo is seeking a Backend Engineer (Golang) to join our Support Engineering team, building scalable, low-latency services that power internal tools used by millions of users and partners.

You will collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams, design resilient systems, and contribute to architectural decisions while writing well-tested Go code. On-call readiness and a focus on reliability are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Production experience in Golang with strong engineering practices
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, especially Cassandra
• Solid understanding of designing and operating low-latency, high-throughput distributed systems
• Previous on-call experience with reliability and incident management

• Build and maintain high-throughput backend services using Go.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to ship features for internal support agents across the globe.
