Our prestigious client in London is hiring a Backend Developer to design and build Go microservices on a cloud-native Azure platform. The role is hybrid with two on-site days per week and involves delivering REST APIs, event-driven integrations, and full lifecycle development.

The ideal candidate has strong Go expertise, experience with APIs, cloud platforms (Azure), and modern dev practices (CI/CD, Git). Docker/Kubernetes skills are a plus, and Agile teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with Go.
• Experience designing REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud experience, ideally Azure; familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and GitOps.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain backend services in Go, with Python where appropriate.
• Develop REST APIs, webhooks and event-driven integrations.
• Contribute across the development lifecycle from design to deployment and support.
• Participate in code reviews, improve reliability and performance, and document work clearly.
• Containerise and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes with team support.
