Itecopeople is seeking a Backend Developer to join a growing AI and automation team. You will build Go microservices on a modern, cloud-native Azure platform, connecting enterprise systems and automating processes across the organisation.

Join a small, collaborative team delivering Go services and integrations, with a strong emphasis on clean code, testing, and deployment. Experience with Python, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiar with cloud platforms, ideally Azure.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and GitOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Nice to have: Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain backend services, primarily in Go, with Python where appropriate.
• Develop REST APIs, webhooks and event-driven integrations connecting internal systems and third-party platforms.
• Contribute across the development lifecycle, from design and testing through to deployment and ongoing support.
• Participate in code reviews, improve reliability and performance, and produce clear technical documentation.
• Containerise and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes, with support from the wider team.

Our prestigious client is looking for a Backend Developer to join a growing AI and automation team, building services and integrations across a complex enterprise environment. Joining a small, collaborative engineering team, you'll develop Go microservices on a modern, cloud-native Azure platform. Your work will connect enterprise systems, automate processes and deliver practical improvements across the organisation.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to technical problem-solving.

Условия:

Salary: Up to £61,000 per annum Contract: 12-month FTC, with potential for extension Benefits include 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays and a pension scheme.
