Job summary

Connect Personnel is recruiting a Manufacturing Operator for a full-time, permanent position in a cleanroom environment. The role involves handling pre-blended powders, tablet and capsule production, and strict GMP compliance.

The successful candidate will join a team, receive full in-house training, and have opportunities for skill development and progression within a multi-skilled manufacturing pathway. Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Proactive and dependable approach to work.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads.
• Basic numeracy and good command of written English.
• Willingness to learn new skills and operate different types of machinery.
• Previous manufacturing, production, cleanroom, or GMP experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, adjust, and clean manufacturing machinery.
• Carry out machine tooling, de-tooling, and production adjustments.
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality and specification requirements.
• Follow GMP procedures and maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Complete daily machine checks and pre-production inspections.
• Maintain high standards of product quality, production efficiency, and workplace hygiene.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, minimise waste, and promote a right first time approach.
• Perform basic machinery maintenance and report faults or production issues to the line manager.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and audit ready working environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Follow all Health & Safety, hygiene, and product safety procedures.
• Handle ingredients and machine components weighing up to 25 kg.
• Carry out other reasonable duties associated with the role.
