Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a GMP Laboratory Operations Lead for Building 6 at the Moreton site. You will connect three laboratory organisations to form a cohesive, high-performing team and ensure conversations happen at the right time, resources are aligned, and safety is embedded.

You will lead cross-functional discussions, support equipment qualification, and drive readiness for regulatory inspections, enabling safe, compliant, and efficient lab operations.

Qualifications

• Solid GMP laboratory experience within a regulated environment.
• Track record of working across complex, matrixed organisations.
• Strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Building 6 Laboratory Leadership Team to align priorities and drive decisions.
• Coordinate with GMP Laboratory Systems to plan equipment qualification, calibration and maintenance around operations.
• Deliver hands-on training on new analytical techniques to scientists.
• Coach early-career scientists and safety representatives to build confidence.
• Lead cross-functional lessons learned from near-miss events to drive genuine improvements.
• Prepare teams for upcoming regulatory inspections with a culture of readiness.
