Blackfield Associates is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy team supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing and laboratory operations. You will maintain specialist equipment and facility systems, ensuring uptime and GMP compliance, with reactive and planned maintenance, and involvement in projects and utilities across the site.

The role requires robust fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and CMMS.

Qualifications

Experience in a pharmaceutical or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong fault-finding and maintenance on production equipment.
Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems.
Experience using CMMS systems.
Background in preventive maintenance programmes.
Understanding GMP processes, CAPAs, deviations, and change controls.
Experience with utility systems (HVAC, compressed gases, facility controls).
Ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilités

Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
Perform planned preventative maintenance activities.
Ensure equipment is returned to production in safe, operational condition.
Complete maintenance documentation and reports.
Develop maintenance procedures and SOPs.
Support facilities, validation, and capital engineering projects.
Manage engineering spares and critical inventory.
Coordinate and oversee contractor activities.
Provide technical expertise and training where required.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
