Job summary

KRG Holdings Ltd is seeking a Gluing Supervisor for their Wellingborough site. You will manage a small team, operate Brausse/Bobst gluing lines and Boomerang operators, and ensure high-quality carton packaging production to meet customer specs.

The role requires at least 1 year of carton gluing experience, supervising experience, and a proactive problem-solving approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging gluing and construction quality.
• Assist in planning trials for new packaging projects.
• Ensure daily schedules are met.
• Complete documentation for traceability and to maintain BRCGS grade.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of gluing lines and machinery.

About the business:

This is a great opportunity to join a very skilled converting team who have achieved BRCGS AA grade certification. The Gluing Supervisor would manage the construction of lithographic printed packaging in a variety of formats and on a range of materials, as well as manage the team to fulfil production output targets and quality of work being produced.

My client currently have 4 gluing machines in operation within our lithographic printing division, including 3 x Brausse Forza , 1x Bobst gluing machines and a Boomerang folder-gluer. They will provide full training on these models, though carton packaging gluing experience is essential.

Purpose of a Gluing Supervisor:

Responsibilities of a Gluing Supervisor:

• Operate our Brausse /Bobst gluing lines and Boomerang machine as required to construct high-quality cartons, sleeves as well as a variety of other packaging types.
• Organise and lead the team to achieve Right First time product to a high quality and customer specification.
• Organise systems to ensure all jobs for gluing shift are ready.
• Manage the quality of packaging gluing and construction.
• Assist in the planning of trials for new packaging projects.
• Ensure daily schedules are met.
• Complete documentation for traceability and to maintain our excellent BRCGS grade.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance and care of gluing lines and machinery.

Skills & Requirements required for a Gluing Supervisor:

• An excellent team-working ethic.

Location: Wellingborough

Hours: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm - Rotating Weekly

Salary: Dependent On Experience
