Job summary

VRS-UK is seeking a Study Director to lead GLP Environmental Fate studies in the UK, delivering high-quality reports for global clients in pharma, agrochemical and chemical sectors.

You will oversee all stages from study planning to final report, liaise with clients and internal teams, and maintain rigorous data integrity and compliance with regulatory guidelines, while continuing your own professional development in a coastal setting.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Experience as a GLP Study Director and/or running OECD Environmental Fate studies.
  • Understanding of computer system validation and data integrity principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative approach with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Leading GLP Environmental Fate studies in line with regulatory guidelines.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Overseeing all aspects of studies, from sample preparation through to final report.
  • Preparing and reviewing study plans, SOPs and reports.
  • Supporting client visits, inspections and external audits.
  • Collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects.

You’ll Bring
