Job summary

Edge Careers is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a freelance, outside IR35 role in Gloucester. You will lead site operations, directing activities to deliver projects safely, on time and to budget.

The role involves supervising a competent workforce, coordinating subcontractors, conducting site audits for health and safety compliance, and generating regular progress and resource reports in line with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering water or civils projects.
• Strong knowledge of programme delivery within STW.
• Experience managing budgets and P&L responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise site activities and subcontractors.
• Conduct site audits to ensure HSEQ compliance with legislation.
• Produce daily resource sheets, weekly plant and materials returns, and subcontract performance reports.
• Stakeholder management with clients, authorities and third parties.
• Monitor costs, cash-flow, overheads and ensure quality against contract specs.
