Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester is offering a Supply Chain Apprentice role as part of a Level 3 Apprenticeship. The programme lasts three years, starting September 2027, with hands-on experience in supplier management, procurement, planning and material availability.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs at grades 9–5 or A*-C, including English and Maths.
• Willingness to learn and complete both practical and academic aspects of the apprenticeship.
• An interest in supply chain, procurement or business operations.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier management activities across aerospace supply chain functions.
• Assist with supplier performance monitoring, delivery schedules and lead times.
• Support planning teams by helping to maintain material availability.
• Identify and escalate potential supply chain risks.
• Maintain accurate supply chain documentation and records.
• Assist with inventory management, stock accuracy and material flow.
• Support continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency and performance.
• Use business systems to maintain orders, schedules and operational data.
• Prepare reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal departments including Engineering, Quality and Operations.
