Job summary

Abcam, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Website Experience Lead to define and deliver the global website experience strategy from Cambridge, UK. You will bridge customer needs with commercial priorities, guiding the roadmap and ensuring regional requirements are represented in a scalable platform.

You will lead UX optimization, experimentation, and governance, balancing global consistency with regional flexibility to drive revenue growth and brand differentiation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline with significant experience leading digital experience, eCommerce or website optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at strategic and execution levels, setting long-term vision while remaining hands-on across roadmaps, optimisation, experimentation, analytics and delivery.
• Deep expertise in UX, customer journey optimization, experimentation, personalisation and digital analytics, with knowledge of MarTech and commerce technology ecosystems.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset, using data to make decisions and demonstrate business impact.
• Proven senior stakeholder leadership and delivery capability across global roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic vision and own the global website roadmap, balancing global consistency with regional needs.
• Lead continuous improvement of the end-to-end website experience using insights and UX best practice.
• Own experimentation and personalisation, defining the testing roadmap and leveraging data to identify opportunities.
• Lead prioritisation, performance and delivery, reporting progress and value to senior leadership.
• Provide global experience governance and cross-functional leadership, ensuring site architecture, brand and content consistency.
