LGC Biosearch Technologies is seeking a Warehouse and Shipping Assistant to join our UK team in Kidlington. You will support a world-class warehouse and logistics operation, ensuring accurate receiving, packing to instruction, and safe storage according to regulations.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organisation, experience in warehousing and ERP systems, and the ability to coordinate international shipments of temperature-sensitive materials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehousing and logistics.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in administrative tasks.
• Strong organisational abilities and time management.
• Ability to work autonomously and support business needs.
• Good verbal and written communication with internal/external collaborators.
• Familiarity with third-party online shipping platforms is beneficial.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Experience in transporting temperature-sensitive products and knowledge of Dangerous Goods shipping is a plus (training offered).

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments and materials.
• Pack according to shipping instructions and local regulations.
• Maintain shipping consumables and raise purchase requisitions.
• Maintain a shared team email inbox.
• Conduct measurements of products with specialized equipment.
• Operate pallet and pump trucks safely.
• Pick and issue internal material requisitions and transport tasks.
• Ensure storage according to conditions and EHS regulations.
• Maintain ERP transactions and conduct weekly cycle counts.
• Support international shipping and coordination of global distribution.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and clean environment.
• Coordinate cold storage and monitor temperatures.
• Assist in SOP production for Warehouse department.
• Align with company policies and regulatory rules.
• Support the wider commercial team with administration and operations tasks.
