Job summary

GSK invites an accomplished leader to serve as VP Medicine Development Leader (MDL) to drive strategic, global development of a medicine from PoC to early approval in major markets. You will assemble and lead the MDT across Clinical Development, Medical, Manufacturing, and Commercial to deliver on-time, value-driven outcomes.

You will partner with the EDL and MCL to ensure seamless transitions between development stages and life cycle management post-approval, while delivering governance, risk

Qualifications

• Advanced degree including MD, PhD, PharmD, MBA, MS.
• Drug development expertise in the global pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Filing experience with BLA/NDA/MAA submissions as a core responsibility.
• Experience in the entirety of drug development across the R&D/ commercial life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Act as a single point of accountability for all aspects of a medicine from clinical PoC to first major market approvals.
• Lead the Medicine Development Team (MDT) and ensure high performance and delivery.
• Partner with EDL, MCL, and other leaders to smooth transitions of indications and lifecycle management.
• Oversee MDT governance, patient-centric development, and external stakeholder engagement.
• Manage asset resourcing, budget, and cross-functional alignment for strategic execution.
