Job summary

GSK seeks a Medical Director Clinical Development- Cardiovascular to lead translational and clinical programs within the RIIRU. You will shape CDPs, drive regulatory strategy, and ensure patient safety across studies. Hybrid work model with on-site presence required two days per week.

You will collaborate with Biology, Regulatory, Clinical Operations and Commercial teams to deliver differentiated medicines and life cycle opportunities, advancing assets with unmet medical need.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree with postgraduate clinical training.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical trial conduct and medical governance.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines and global regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to lead cross-functional matrix teams and present medical data clearly.
• Experience with IND/CTA submissions and regulatory interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership for translational and clinical plans.
• Design clinical development plans, protocols, and regulatory documents.
• Oversee safety monitoring and pharmacovigilance activities.
• Lead the Clinical Matrix Team and coordinate cross-functional input.
• Influence stakeholders to align scientific and regulatory strategies.
