Job summary

Capital Tax Recruitment is seeking a Senior Manager to lead UK and international tax compliance and managed services for a well‑established professional services client. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, roll out transformation initiatives and oversee technology deployments across global teams.

You will guide cross-border projects, manage offshore resourcing, and mentor junior colleagues while supporting growth and contract terms with clients. Flexible UK locations offered.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale, multi-jurisdictional compliance or transformation projects.
• Experience designing or improving processes, risk frameworks and controls.
• Strong change leadership and stakeholder management.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Knowledge of how technology and automation can improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Resilient, self-motivated, able to work under pressure.
• Analytical thinker with root-cause problem solving.
• Hands-on tax or accounting compliance experience (direct/indirect tax, statutory accounts, transfer pricing or tax reporting).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delivery for sizeable UK and international tax/accounting compliance projects, managing them end to end
• Roll out managed service and transformation initiatives and support their adoption across client teams
• Oversee technology deployments that underpin compliance and reporting workstreams
• Serve as the main point of contact for overseas clients and international colleagues, resolving issues and keeping governance on track
• Support commercial growth, helping convert opportunities into signed engagements, including contract terms
• Spot and shape transformation opportunities, from redesigning processes to building out centres of excellence
• Help evolve the team’s service offering and how it’s delivered
• Develop and sustain strong client relationships, both new and existing
• Manage more junior team members and coordinate offshore resourcing on client work
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and bring in the right specialists
• Mentor and support colleagues on technical matters
