Job summary

Arch Insurance (UK) Limited seeks an experienced underwriter to manage new and renewal business within personal authority. You will underwrite balanced, profitable accounts and ensure precise record-keeping in the Xchanging system and other platforms.

Role requires travel between London and other European offices, attending client meetings as needed, and developing broker relationships while supporting budgeting and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred but not essential.
• ACII preferred (if not held, must obtain within 3 years).
• Minimum years of market underwriting experience in London or Lloyds market.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business within personal underwriting authority.
• Underwrite a balanced and profitable account.
• Record underwriting information accurately in Xchanging System and other systems.
• Conduct account clearance with other parts of the Corporation for overseas risks.
