Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions are supporting a leading defence engineering business in their search for a Field Service Engineer to join the service team. You will install, commission, service and support specialist equipment across the UK and internationally, with a strong focus on customer interaction and hands-on work with advanced electro-mechanical systems.

This role also involves diagnosing faults, producing technical reports, and delivering excellent on-site support.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND or degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in a Field Service, Maintenance or Technical Support role.
• Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and valid passport.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning, and servicing specialist equipment
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical faults
• Producing technical reports and service documentation
• Delivering exceptional customer support on-site
• Supporting equipment trials, testing, and training activities
• Working closely with engineering and project teams to deliver customer solutions
