Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Summer Analyst for its Global Transaction Banking (GTB) EMEA team in London. The 10-week program runs June to September 2027, delivering transaction banking solutions to institutional and corporate clients.

You will support four core areas and work with experienced colleagues to help manage client relationships and deliver services. Based in London, you will assist with banking solutions, payments, and trade finance while gaining exposure to pricing, onboarding, and client

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, engineering, physics or related field, graduating in 2027.
• Interested in transaction banking and financial services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Support relationship management through client research and briefing materials.
• Assist with deposit and trade finance opportunities from pricing to execution.
• Help analyse client activity and support AML/KYC reviews.
• Contribute to market research and strategic initiatives across payments and deposits.
