Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Global Head of Training to own the strategy, standards, and operating model for training the on-road workforce across regions. You will build scalable curricula, certification pathways, and data-driven updates aligning training with product changes and safety findings.

You will lead a distributed team, drive global consistency, and ensure readiness before deployment while collaborating with Operations, Product, and Safety to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in training or capability development within safety-critical environments.
• Proven track record building and leading structured training programmes across multiple sites/regions.
• Experience designing scalable onboarding, certification, and recurrent training frameworks.
• Ability translate operational/product/safety requirements into practical training content and standards.
• Strong analytics skills using performance data to improve readiness and execution.

Responsibilities

• Own global training strategy, standards, and operating model across geographies.
• Define scalable curricula, onboarding pathways, and certification frameworks for on-road and maintenance roles.
• Ensure operators meet performance and safety thresholds before live deployment.
• Translate product requirements and safety findings into rapid training updates.
• Establish metrics and reporting to prove training effectiveness and guide interventions.
• Lead and develop Regional Training Leads, ensuring global consistency with local adaptation.
• Partner with Operations, Product, and Safety to align training outcomes with business needs.
• Own certification and compliance record-keeping standards globally.
