Job summary

ExxonMobil in London invites applications for a 2027 Placement in Global Trading’s Quantitative Analytics team. You will spend 3 to 6 months working with traders, analysts and origination on market-valuations and model development on the trade floor.

You will be mentored by Senior Front-Office Quants, gain experience in energy markets, and develop Python/C++ tools while learning to communicate results to trading desks.

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final year of Masters or PhD in Mathematical Finance, Computational Finance, Financial Engineering or similar

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of energy commodity markets
• Support market-based valuations of physical assets and structured deals
• Develop quantitative derivatives pricing models and test performance across regions
• Deliver presentations to Trading desks and Quantitative Analytics teams on models and results
