Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Manager, Trade Controls, to lead global trade controls across Strategy & Transformation. The role collaborates with regional supply chain, logistics, compliance, and business leaders to embed controls into processes and operating models.

The position focuses on standardization, risk mitigation, and enabling growth while ensuring compliance with evolving regulations. Requires 6–8 years of trade experience and SAP GTS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
• Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) or advanced certification in trade compliance or supply chain.
• Typically 6–8 years of progress in global trade compliance or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of global trade controls, import/export regulations, and customs.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of global trade controls strategies aligned with Supply Chain objectives.
• Provide SME on import/export controls, sanctions, and customs compliance to support operations.
• Embed trade compliance in new processes, systems, and operating models.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of trade controls across regions.
• Assess trade risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support network optimization, supplier transitions and new product introductions from a trade perspective.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align and execute trade controls requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate into scalable, practical solutions.
