Job Description:

Are you looking for a career move that will put you at the heart of a global financial institution? Then bring your skills in analysis, problem solving, and communication to Citi’s Client Program Management Office team.

By joining Citi, you will become part of a global organization whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.

Team/Role Overview:

The Client Program Management Office is an organization of project management professionals who partner with our clients to onboard them onto the Services Global Network. Projects involving the Client PMO are typically non-standard, complex treasury and trade solutions requiring extensive project/change management skills. We collaborate with Sales, Product, Operations, Technology, and Service to facilitate these projects, which are large, multi-product, and/or multi-region treasury transformation programs.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact for coordination and successful delivery of clients’ global technical projects, overseeing execution across various global work streams.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for initiating, planning, designing, implementing, monitoring, and completing technical integration solutions.
  • Design the optimal approach for integrating client business platforms with Citi’s services and drive the execution of the solution.
  • Establish governance models for complex technical projects involving multiple teams on both sides.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, obtaining agreement and sign-offs on objectives and milestones.
  • Assess and manage solutions’ appropriateness and risks across regions and work streams, escalating issues proactively.
  • Create and manage project governance documents such as Project Plans, Risk Registers, Issue Logs, and Status Trackers.
  • Prepare and deliver status reports, executive summaries, and presentations to senior leaders.
  • Coordinate execution of project plans across multiple leads, vendors, and groups in various locations.
  • Develop metrics, monitor project status, and communicate updates clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Manage project scope through change control, setting clear expectations after scope analyses.
  • Ensure smooth transition from implementation to production and support escalation processes.
  • Participate in client presentations, demos, RFPs, and new solution initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to departmental enhancements.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Experience leading large technical projects with executive visibility, preferably within large MNCs.
  • Technology or systems experience.
  • Proven results in driving projects to conclusion.
  • Flexibility to manage varying workloads and complex solutions alongside technical teams.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail, with experience working in controlled environments.
  • Track record of strong performance and project delivery.
  • Client relationship management skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Leadership skills to promote team building and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to navigate multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Influential skills to manage virtual teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, VISIO, SharePoint, and Office tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP certification or equivalent required, with certification to be obtained within six months if not already held.

What we can offer you:

We strive to have a positive financial and social impact, prioritizing our employees’ well-being with competitive benefits, including:

  • Generous holiday allowance starting at 27 days plus bank holidays, increasing with tenure
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Private medical insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Pension Plan
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Employee discounts
  • Learning and development resources
